Success!

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts all our wonderful family and friends who made August 24, 2008 loving, fabulous, emotional, fun and beautiful. Your presence and love is so important to us. It was just an amazing day! We are planning on honeymooning next year in Greece but in the meantime here are some photos generously sent to me by Karen Foreman, Lisa Reyes and Scott Salzer (and well myself! heh):

11 days to go.....

Hi there, we are at the 11 day mark, very excited! (ok and a bit nervous) I wanted to post some fresh info, mainly the 2 important addresses Ceremony and Reception:

Ceremony begins at 2 pm, please arrive between 1.30 and 2, at 1475 Savoy Road, Windsor Ma. 01270
We've arranged for parking right on the lawn in front of the property

Their parking is actually next door, there should be signs.

There is a car service arranged from 8pm-11pm from Sunset and they can take people to their hotels, homes etc. in the area, so that no one has to drive intoxicated. So feel free to drink up ;-)

Camping and Hotels

Just a reminder that Jamie and I have blocked off 40 rooms at the Super 8 Hotel in Lee, Ma., for the night of August 23, 2008:

Just ask them for rooms under the Pierce/Evans wedding. By the way, we will have a van making runs from the reception barn to hotels and homes in the Lee, Lenox, Pittsfield range from 8 pm to 11 pm so that no one has to drive after drinking. I do want to emphasize again, PLEASE book your rooms ahead of time! The Berkshires is a popular destination at this time for out of towners and I would hate for anyone to be locked out!

As far as camping goes I know some New Yorkers and Cali friends are planning on camping in the days before so feel free to contact us for information if you are interested.

Did you get yours? Aren't they pretty? My mom had them made and hand addressed them and she did a great job except that she put our old address on the return envelope! Where?

Super mom Sue Evans will be sending out formal invitations soon but here's some basic info:

• Wedding ceremony on the grounds of Jamie's grandparents in Windsor, Ma. at 2:00 pm. By the way, because of the somewhat remote nature of the Pierce homestead, for those of you driving we are arranging a sort of pick up/drop off service from a nearby parking area to and from the wedding site; more details about that later.
• Reception in the fabulous 250 year old barn at Sunset Farms B&B starting around 3:30 and going til 11 pm.
